Hey folks, with less than two days to go I am happy to report that we are LESS than $300 away from unlocking our FINAL stretch goal!

SWZA SPOTLIGHT

Okay, so there is a *terrific* horror anthology comic you all need to know about. and it's called:

MORSELS

I absolutely LOVE everything about this book (and am backing it) There's just so much classic horror to it, and the art is absolutely solid and interesting.

Anthologies can often be a real toss-up in terms of quality, but with what Morsels has to offer I'm confident that you'll love this book. They have only 30ish hours left, so don't wait, check them out and pledge.

 Tomb of the Black Horse

So, I met the guy behind this book Ian, on the Blake's Buzz podcast, and I really liked the cut of his jib--so I checked out the series, which he describes as:

"Cosmic horror meets corporate malfeasance in this bloody thriller that's perfect for fans of Ice Cream man and The Silver Coin! TOMB OF THE BLACK HORSE is a 36-page full color comic book lavishly produced by Comic Printing UK and personally fulfilled by the two creators.

All in all, great art, a fun premise, executed with care, intelligence and heart!

Hey folks, 

So I have been buried under a writing deadline (finishing up a brand-new screenplay this week), But I wanted to make sure to thank each and every one of you for making my *very first* graphic novel a huge success!

I have been making comics since the fifth grade, and it means so much to me to have made it to this point, where I'm regularly producing stories and creating world for an enthusiastic audience.  This is all I have ever wanted and since you have helped me get to this place, I wanted to return the favor and give you a sneak peek of my NEXT new project with an as-of-yet unnamed artist. 

But first...

FIRST SWZA STRETCH GOAL: NEW TAROT!

We have made some really cool tarot cards over the past two years: 

We are less than $300 away from closing in on yet another set. If we can hit $17,000 in the next six days, Luana Vecchio will be returning to create the next six SWZA Major Arcana Tarot cards, which will be: Strength, The Empress, The High Priestess,  Justice, The Hanged Man, and The Hierophant

Everyone who pledges at The Book ($35) level or higher will receive the Strength card absolutely free. (Those of your who got the early bird level just need to add at least $5 to your pledge to qualify).

NEW (SECRET) COMIC PROJECT:

Finally, I wanted to make sure that after this huge outpouring of support, I spread the love, so here are some interesting (and very important) projects that you need to check out:

TYPE 1 (By NOAH AVERBACH-KATZ)

This is an incredible short film written and starring "Noah AK" of Star-Trek Discovery and his wife Mary Wiseman, who are navigating a post-apocalyptic world in a search of insulin. Noah is a Type 1 diabetic in real life, and this is one of the first films ever to accurately depict what it's like to live with Type 1 Diabetes. 

In short, this isn't just an interesting short film from two incredibly talented actors, it's work that matters. Head over there and pledge to help them hit their final stretch goal.

OH! And for SWZA Lore deep cuts, not only am I a backer--but Noah and I actually met playing a post-apocalyptic zombie roleplaying game with Aliza Pearl for charity:

Cuthulu is Hard to Spell #3

Okay, so as you guys know, I'm a huge fan of combining horror with comedy. This new anthology book is the direct successor to the last one I spotlighted on this campaign. It's by Russell Nohelty who does incredible work. Go pledge to it.
